Have you observed the new PokerPro texas holdem poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a short trip with my parents to the WinStar Betting house in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other folks at the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was very fascinating to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer driven, there had been no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was boring. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, except I did notice the gamblers at the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The cause of this may possibly be since there was no human discussion with the croupier, the environment was relatively boring and the players looked bored to tears. It was almost as if I was viewing a live variation of an online hold’em poker room rather than sitting with warm bodied humans. It was a tiny bit bizarre and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of ST:TNG and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the are living tables was over an hour, I made a decision to see how the casino game play was and to experience this new hold em poker gaming technology. Right after wagering a couple of hands, I truly felt like I was wagering at house. The lack of activity on the table was the main reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are possible at these electronic tables.

An additional thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a whole lot of hands in the PokerPro table and discovered that the wager on was a whole lot like a web based hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, but I found it to become extremely odd.

Soon after wagering a couple of rounds with this "new texas holdem poker technology", I made a decision that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m far better off playing texas hold em poker on the web at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling establishment have been to get rid of the live poker tables, I think they would shed a whole lot of gamblers.
