[ English ]

Internet poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantly to the house. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your original bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
